How to use the Wireframe modifier in Blender

In this article, you will learn using the wireframe modifier.

Type: 1

Step 1: Add four objects to the scene. Or you can add what you want to change a wireframe object.

Step 2: Combine them using ‘CTRL+J’.

Step 3: Go to ‘Modifier Properties’. Add ‘Wireframe modifier’.

Step 4: Objects become wireframe objects. You can change the values if you want.

I am showing the objects individually.

Type: 2

Step 1: Add a cube to the scene. Select the four vertices as shown in the below image.

Step 2: Go to ‘Object Data Properties’. Click on ‘+’ to create ‘Group’. Click on ‘Assign’.

Step 3: Add ‘Wireframe modifier’.

Step 4: The object turns into the wireframe object. Go to ‘Vertex group’ in ‘Modifier Properties’.

Step 5: Add ‘Group’ which we created vertex group before.

Step 6: Change the thickness value to how much you want.

After adding the value, the object becomes as shown in the image.

Step 7: Add a cube.

Step 8: The new cube becomes a new object with a new design.

Step 9: This is a render preview. Like this, you can create new designs with your own ideas.
