The Clock - Poetry

- Sesi Saradi

Time stood still for me, as

Someone disturbed it’s flow

By stopping the Clock

Of my life.

I just go through the motion of

Being alive.

Never taking pleasure in the

Things I do.

The mechanism of the Clock is

Too complicated for me to mend.

For sometime,

I waited patiently for

A Saviour who can mend it

For me, but none came along.

Finally I realized that

No one will ever come.

So, I just go through the

Motion of being alive,

Do you know? - Poetry

- Sesi Saradi

Do you know that

I have been waiting for you

Forever,

From the day I started breathing?

Do you know that

I have been searching for you

Forever,

From the day I started walking?

I waited only for you and

Walked only towards you.

When I crossed all the

Obstacles and finally

Found you,

Sadly did I realized that

I walked towards an oasis

And found a mirage.

The moment I grasped you,

You just flew away.

Never to r…

World of Books - Poetry

- Sesi Saradi

I thought my love is ideal

          Took pride in it

Left my world of books

          And ventured into

This strange world of love.

          But now

Battered in love and life,

Bruised in heart and body,

I stumbled weakly,

          Once again into

My world of books .

Into this castle of security.

          And am once again

Welcomed warmly, heartily.

Sure,

No longer will I have

Our Generation - English Poetry

- Sesi Saradi

Our generation is the lucky lot,

We are the children and youngsters

Of one century and matured,

Wise persons of the new one.

We know the joy of hearing the radio,

And also tape recorders, CD players,

Walkmans, iPods and mp3s.

We enjoyed the Doordarshan,

Watched movies on VCRs and also on cable television. And now subscribe to Netflix.

We came to know the pleasure of reading in the libraries. It also enhanced our knowledge. Now

we r…

Stranger - Poetry

- Sesi Saradi

I don't know

          who you are,

What your name is,

Still, I dream about you

          and don't want

This dream to end.

You stirred something

          in my heart, which

I thought is dead. So

          I don't want

This dream to end.

You may go your way,

          I may go my way.

Our paths may never cross.

          still, I don't want

This dream to end.

This dream brings nothing

It Would Be - Poetry

- Sesi Saradi

It would be a

          satisfying experience

To share your life.

It would be an

          enjoyable experience

To be always with you.

It would be a

          tremendous experience

To grow old with you.

It would be a

          deserving end

To die in your arms.

You Are - Poetry

- Sesi Saradi

You are always

          a dream.

Now you became

          a distant dream.

I grope for you in the

          darkness of my heart.

But,

You always allude me,

Like a faraway star.

I Want To - Poetry

- Sesi Saradi

I want to bury my face

Into the hollow of

Your neck,

Inhale deeply and

Experience the exhilaration of

Being in your arms.

But all I could think

At that time, is

The ticking of the clock,

The marching of minutes

And time slipping away

Stealthily.

In no time at all,

You are on the road again

Walking towards your

Battle field.

I was left to wonder

When I will get to

Meet you again.

My Son – My Hero - Poetry

- Kamisetti ChandramouliK. Chandramouli

Sprouting out from the warmth of the Earth

Like a pompous seedling raising its head high

The bubbling energy in each blood surge

He gallantly ascends the peaks of  life

With a hand held bludgeon of bravado

Siddu

Heart filled with the power of fortitude

Silence an unfathomed  heaving sea

Laughter a pleasant music of the woods

Valiant words the tough spiky swords

Looks of a Greek Falcon’s sharp sight

Eyes  with unblemished love towards …

Silent World - Poetry

- Sesi Saradi

I love you so much

And want to snuggle deep

          into your heart.

I admire you so much

And want to crawl

          into your heart

And stay there forever.

But,

You put up a barrier

Of silence between us.

It is unable for me to break it.

The more I try the more thicker

It becomes.

It's not the silence that hurts

It's your silence towards me.

It would be heavenly to be

Silent together,

Without any barr…

Life in a Well - Poetry

-  Sesi  Saradi

I was thrown into a Well In

My prime.

It is like a underground forest,

With dense vegetation and as it is

A Well, water. Lots of it.

I don’t know what crime, I

Committed,

To be thus punished!

I have food to eat

and water to drink.

And a whole life ahead to lament.

I live with beasts, like a slave.

This maybe the hell we read about.

Every day I plan to get away.

But I could not climb the steep

Wall of the Well with out help. I

Prayer to the Divine - Poetry

- K. ChandramouliK. Chandramouli

Oh God ! Wake my soul into the world of divinity

To carve up the moments of your eternal love

Make my heart the abode of sanctity

To conjure up your thoughts forever

Take me to the pinnacle of serenity

To experience the heavenly bliss of life

Held in the arms of your amorous embrace

Shall I reach the glory of true humanity

Unmasking the camouflage of the imp

Redefining my thoughts into the incandescent

Refraining from the aberrance of the …

Solitude - Poetry

- Kamisetti ChandramouliK. Chandramouli

Between the crossed brows

Lies the feeling that no one knows

Malice with a devilish smile

Breaks the relations so fragile

Robbed out of the humane kindness

Element of the divine bliss

Finds its abode in the dark solace

The Spirit of mine lingers in utter peace

All alone lost in the eternal heaven

My core endure the great pain

Grilled with the lamented heart

My soul spills out the tranquil thoughts

Bruises on my heart still bleed

The Wait - Poetry

- Sesi Saradi

When days turned into weeks,

And weeks into months,

I reconciled myself

To the fact that,

Now I became only a bleak

Unwanted memory for you.

Whom you do not want

Either in your present or

In your future.

Why? Is a question for which

I could find no answer and

You are out of my reach

To confront.

"Poetry Soup" Winning me - Poetry

- Kamisetti ChandramouliK. Chandramouli

Into the unfathomed abyss dives my heart

Reminiscing the tormented moment

With all the tear filled spectacle

Sensing a gorgeous miracle

The cuckoo’s song is heard in a tragic tone

As my deepest heart begins to moan

In the chill morning day light

As I lay in the bed out of sight

How sweet is the bitterest insult

Relishes my bruised heart

Obsessed by the callous fate

Ruthlessly engrossed in hate

Into the mysterious chasm

Gable - Poetry

- Sesi Saradi

In your death, you are

Immortalized.

For generations to come,Clark Gable

You will always be remembered

As the KING

KING OF HOLLYWOOD!

Even now, fifty - seven years after

You left this world,

Men still want to emulate your

Macho image and

Women still drool over you.

Your films are still as fresh

As when they were first made.

Somewhere in some corner of

This earth, you are entertaining

The audience.

Be it on the silver screen or

On the smal…

Welcome Me Back - Poetry

- Sesi Saradi

When I am blocked on your

Doorway,

I felt humiliated, helpless.

But obliged, as I have

No other option.

I returned with dry eyes and

Empty heart, which is numb.

The tears came later,

Much later.

They flowed endlessly.

Maybe

To cleanse the debris

That accumulated on my heart

For years.

The debris of ego,

The debris of pride,

The debris of vanity, and

The debris of selfishness that

Did not let me think about

Others opinion a…

Farewell - Poetry

- Sesi Saradi

Someday, very soon

               I had to bid

Farewell to this place.

Time will place,

               heavy curtains

On my mind -

I will be busy

               with other matters.

But,

When ever I am alone

I will draw

               the curtains slowly

And peep to these days.

I will remember them

               with pain, when

All my thoughts

               surrounded you

Who is a…

Mother's Day - Poetry

- Sesi Saradi

Happy Mother's Day, Mom, Neeha burst into the room,

With a bunch of roses.

I hugged her, taking them.

'Thank you, dear, you made my

Day'. I said the routine words

Required for the occasion. After

She left, a thought recurred again

And again.

Why should we celebrate motherhood,

On a day that has nothing to do with us

Personally?

Why should we celebrate one daughter's

Tribute to her mother as our own individual

Day?

Don't each mother have …
